Film Screening at Beacon High School

Dear MSC families

This is a link to a free screening in person at Beacon High School, but we have been given permission to share with the MSC community. A note that this movie is best for middle school and up and a warning that there is a long discussion of the N” word.

All members of the Beacon school community are invited to attend a special event featuring "A White Man Walks Into a Barbershop," a new film directed by (and featuring) Kyle Schickner and produced by Beacon parent JL Narramore.

Date: Thursday, May 12

Time: 6:00-8:30 PM

Where: Beacon Auditorium

We will begin with a performance by Beacon's amazing STEP team with African drumming, followed by the film screening and then a panel conversation with the filmmakers about this honest, humorous, timely and searing documentary about race in America.

Please click below to reserve your free seat and join us for this special presentation by the Beacon PTA DEI Committee!
