Climate Education Youth Summit

February 8th-12th • 3:30-6:30 PM

Columbia University’s Eco Ambassadors Program of the Center for Sustainable Development at the Earth Institute, in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation in New York City and New Jersey Audubon, is organizing a Climate Education Youth Summit for New York and New Jersey’s students.This Summit is best for middle and high schoolers as well as college students, but all are welcome!

Join Stephanie Rose of STEM Inquiry for a Free, Intro class of Science Explorers: Hands-on Science/STEM via Zoom on WED, FEB 17 (during break!)

We'll explore "How Strong is Your Bridge?"– to spark curiosity!

Just bring along:

1) some blocks - or other stackable objects like books;

2) six pieces of copy paper;

3) cup of pennies (or paper clips).

Remote Learning Training for Parents and Caregivers

The Office of Congressman Espaillat (NY-13) and the Manhattan Borough/Citywide Office of the Department of Education have incorporated ideas on how to best support the transition to remote learning to parents in Manhattan. Each week they will offer ZOOM Online Training to those Parent/Caregivers in need of assistance.
